2017 Innovation Summit
The Innovation Summit is the launch pad for breakthrough technologies from the Finalist Teams of the Conrad Spirit of Innovation Challenge.
You will experience a competitive, yet intimate, environment where leading entrepreneurs, government officials, and scientists will join you in a collaborative, social forum to learn from each other and help guide the development of your 21st century technologies.
Each finalist team will present their product to the judges. In addition to your presentation, you will have opportunities to join innovative discussions about cutting edge topics in science and entrepreneurship.
The key to the Innovation Summit is to know that YOU are the stars. The great innovators attending are coming to connect with you. Make it what you want the Summit to be. Don't be afraid to ask someone to discuss whatever topics may be on your mind.
Registration is now closed. If you have any questions, please contact the Conrad Team at firstname.lastname@example.org for assistance.

Summit Logistical Information
Congratulations again to the teams selected as Summit Finalists. As Finalists you are amongst a select group that have the rare and valuable opportunity to attend the 2017 Spirit of Innovation Summit at the Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex. This year's Summit is sure to be our best ever. The location is second-to-none and the schedule is amazing. The three-day Summit will be jam packed with awesome speakers, fun activities, entertainment and even a little free time to explore the Space Coast.
Air Travel Information
We recommend air travel into Orlando International Airport (MCO) as they have numerous air carriers and flights available to offer you the best airfares and schedules.
The Conrad Challenge room blocks at the participating hotels are now closed. The current room rate for the participating hotels is $199 per night and is subject to change as the event approaches. We strongly encourage Finalist teams and their guests to stay at Courtyard by Marriott or Hampton Inn on Cocoa Beach.
And, don't forget to bring your swimsuit…they have great pools and are located on the beach!
Ground Transportation Information to/from Orlando International Airport (MCO)
For teams traveling to Florida on April 26, here’s what you need to know regarding your ground transportation from the Orlando International Airport to the Courtyard by Marriott/Hampton Inn:
Buses will depart at the following times: 10:30 a.m., 1:30 p.m., 4:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. (all times EST). Please be sure to arrange your flight based on these pick-up times, otherwise you will need to find your own transportation from the airport to the hotel. Please take note that you will need to land at least 45 minutes prior to the shuttle departure time in order to make that scheduled time slot (if you have checked your bags, you may need up to an hour prior).
We will provide a return shuttle service on Sunday, April 30 from the hotel(s) to MCO at 8 a.m., 12 p.m. and 4 p.m. (All times EST) When deciding what return shuttle to take, please note that it is a one hour drive from the Finalist hotel(s) to MCO.
We will have more specific information about pickup locations at the Orlando Airport as we get closer to Summit.
During your Stay
Once you are at the hotel, the Kennedy Space Center Visitor Complex (KSCVC) will provide buses to and from the Summit events. We will provide a detailed schedule of morning pickup and afternoon or evening return times in the coming weeks as we finalize the schedule.
If you don't have a car during your stay, it's OK. During your free time, you can catch The Cocoa Beach Trolley to dine at Grill's, Fish Lips or other casual restaurants at the Port. You may even see a cruise ship leaving or returning. Or if you're into shopping, you won't want to miss the world famous Ron Jon Surf Shop and the Cocoa Beach Surf Company. The trolley runs from 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. from Port Canaveral to 13th Street South in Cocoa Beach. A ride on the trolley costs .60 cents each way. Or is you prefer a taxi that's easy too. Cocoa Beach Taxi.
