In commemoration of the 50th anniversary of the legendary moon landings, The Conrad Challenge has created the “Moonwalker Capsule” to digitally house the 2018-2019 student submissions. The “Moonwalker Capsule” will highlight the innovative spirit of today’s young minds, as well as celebrate the success of Conrad Challenge innovators from past years of the competition.
Whether you are a current or past student, don’t miss your moonshot! Like the Conrad Challenge’s namesake Capt. Pete Conrad, Commander of Apollo 12 and the third man to walk on the Moon, all 2018-2019 student submissions will fly to space on board New Shepard. New Shepard is Blue Origin’s suborbital reusable rocket that takes payloads – and soon people – to space and back launching from the company’s West Texas Launch Site.
HERE’S WHAT YOU NEED TO DO:
2018-2019 STUDENT TEAMS
Registration is now closed for the 18-19 Conrad Challenge
All teams who complete the registration and submission requirements (Round One Investor Pitch and Round Two Business Plan) for the 2018-2019 Conrad Challenge will be included in the “Moonwalker Capsule,” which will fly as a payload on board New Shepard in 2019.
Each student and team coach will receive a printed team photo and certificate of flight.
